How to find us
Southwell is easy to get to from London. lt is only 15 miles from Nottingham, so we recommend you get a train to Nottingham, and then take the bus to Southwell itself (around a 40 minute journey). You can plan your train travel here, and your bus ride here.
Parking
Parking is available at Church Street Car Park (Pay & Display) opposite the Minster. Parking charges:
First hour: free, £1 p/h thereafter
After 6pm: £2 set charge
Accommodation Suggestions
Nottingham, as a city, has an array of hotels and hostels, whereas Southwell has fewer options. We recommend you book early if you wish to stay nearby. We cannot make ideal recommendations for individual needs. We encourage you to do some strategic searching with your own personal priorities in mind (budget, walking distance, breakfast options, neighbourhood style, etc.). Some general suggestions are included below, but the choice is yours to make with your or your institutions budget in mind.
